Apiece Apart
Apiece Apart has a strict policy: if it cannot be made well, it does not get made. The New York label sources from small mills and artisan producers, works almost exclusively in natural fibers, and builds silhouettes designed to look as good in three years as they do on the day you buy them. That is not marketing language - it is a production philosophy that shows up in the finished garments.
Wide-leg trousers in Japanese cotton gauze. Boxy linen tops with hand-blocked prints from Indian artisans. Draped dresses and Peruvian alpaca knits that get softer with every wash. The shapes are generous and unstructured without reading sloppy.
This is the label for the customer who has stopped chasing seasons and started building a wardrobe that actually works.
